Illustrated Peace Heroes at Blutgasse, Vienna (2022–2024)
From 2022 to 2024, Illustrated Peace Heroes brought the stories of remarkable peacebuilders from around the world to Blutgasse in Vienna. Through the powerful illustrations of Liza Sotnyk, the exhibition honored activists, leaders, and ordinary individuals who have dedicated their lives to nonviolence, justice, and reconciliation.
Each portrait, accompanied by a short biography, highlighted the diversity of global peace efforts and the courage of those working to create positive change. This exhibition served as both a tribute and an invitation—encouraging visitors to reflect on the impact of these heroes and to find inspiration in their stories for building a more peaceful world.
